Domon felt this and made a point to attempt to dodge the blows, knowing that the last thing that either of them would need would be for him to touch it. He began to siphon the energy that was emanating from the blade each time it passed by him. He created a blade of his own using life energy, blocking those blows that he couldn't dodge. Domon was quite skilled in swordplay thanks to Ish's training, but he was rusty, and it showed. His lifelike attempted to move behind Mitsurugi at this point, extending a wave of energy to create a cage around him.
