Forest training (c) Empty

Chase stood in the middle of a clearing, the dense trees surrounding him, the sounds of nature filling the air. he had been out here for three days now, his small orange tent sitting at the side of the clearing, a campfire lit. The dark haired boy wiped his forehead of the sweat that had formed there, his eyes focused on a pile of wood that he had assembled into a taget. Holding out his hand, Chase focused his reiatsu, three shapes forming in his palm. Wrapping and condencing layers and layers of ice, over time they formed into throwing stars, their sleek surfaces glimmering in the sun. This was a test, one that he had failed over and over for the past few days. He had come out here to perfect a new ability he had thought of.

He held the throwing stars in his hand, weighing them with his hand. Yup, these were good, nice and heavy. Holding two in his left hand, he gripped the thrid star, throwing it towards the target. Just as it hit, Chase focused hard, trying to reverse the compression of the ice. In theory, he assumed, they would explode. This was his new teqnique. So far he had been unsucessful, but as the star spun towards the target, he had a feeling this time it was going to work. His face lit up as the pile of wood exploded, his celebration didn't last long. Along with the star he had thrown, the other two he had been holding also exploded, but not with as much force as the one he had been focusing on.

Growling, he looked down at his bloody hand and torso. Fuck, that hurt. Walking back over to his tent, he crawled in, grabbing some bandages out of his bag. Fuck these cuts were deep. shoving the bandages into his pockets, he stood up, walking towards the closest stream. After a few moments he arived at the water. Taking the bandages from his pockets and setting them on the ground, he turned around and stepped into the water, the thick, crimson blood running off his skin, diluting into the water. He rubbed his hands together, making sure everything was clean. As he got out of the water, he sensed someone else nearby. Turning around, he glared into the bushes then turned back around. If there was someone out there wanting to attack him, he was at least prepared for it now.

Urufu Tatsumaki

Approaching Chase from behind after floating down the water of the river, a wooden hand tapped him on the shoulder. "Not cool man." Urufu's voice was being projected from the wooden puppet as he controlled it using his special black spirit threads from the tree. Because it was wood, it was controlled much easier then normal. This meant that the threads he used were so thin they were practically invisible. "How would you like it if something exploded against you?" The puppet asked again, raising it's other hand, which held a stick. Urufu pushed a bit of his reishi through the strings extra, which compressed the stick down hard. When he released it, it would explode. Placing it against the man's back, he let fire.

"asshole.." Urufu was practically 'off his tree' laughing so hard. It was a silent laugh, for his mouth did not move, but inside, his manipulative soul was in hysterics. He may have been half demon. He may be the master of corpses. But hell, he was still just a kid.

What. The. Fuck. Chase looked over his shoulder immediately when he felt the tap on his shoulder, already prepared for any kind of attack. He was prepared for the attack, not for what he saw. Did... did his target come to life and come after him for revenge!? This was way too fucked up... was he spending too much time alone? Was he going crazy? "How would you like it if something exploded against you?" Chase's black eyes scanned his foe quickly, jumping out of the way just in time, he formed a barrier or reiatsu enforced ice between himself and the explosion.

[color=red]Urufu Tatsumaki

Urufu wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, and the reishi he was using to hold him to the tree accidentally crushed the branch, sending him falling in to the freezing cold water of the river. Pulling himself out of the lake, the threads connecting him to the puppet had been dispersed, the wood falling. Laughing, he shook off the water from his body. It didn't make him uncomfortable, cold, etc, but it made his body heavy. "Sorry about that.. couldn't resist. The names Urufu, what about yours?" He asked, still a kid. Sliding his soaked fingers into his black jacket pockets, he leaned back on his right leg, water still dripping from his body.

Melting his barrier withing seconds, he saw a kid fall from a nearby tree. Tilting his head as the child approached, he looked at him through narrowed eyes. "So yur the one who attacked me?! What the fuck is yur problem, kid?" he said angrily. He knew that he shouln't get mad at a kid, but fuck, he could have killed him. Plus, Chase had always had issues controlling his temper. Taking a deep breath, he knew he needed to calm down. "Ya can't just go around attackin' people like that." He said a little more calmly.

Urufu Tatsumaki

Urufu nearly burst out laughing. "Actually.. I can. And there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about it." He said calmly, before holding out his left hand. "What are you going to do? Kill me?" he asked, before forming a dagger in his hand from black reishi. It was quite basic, about a foot long. Bringing it to his neck, he pressed the sharp edge of the blade into his rotting flesh, and digging in. Hacking a few times, he quickly removed his head without grimacing once, actually smiling. Bending his neck forward, the reishi blade disappeared from his hand, melting back into his body, as he caught the decapitated head. Holding it out in front of him by his hair, the lips smiled once more.

"What could you possibly do?" He asked, his voice still coming from the head.

Chase watched with wide eyes as the kid before him chopped off his own head with a blade he formed out of mid air. "WHAT THE FUCK!? chase thought franticly as his head was severed from his body, still able to talk even though it was now completely detatched. He stared at the boy, his mouth hung open. "That is totally fucked up." he said, a smile washing over his features. He tridged through the water, standing infront of zombie kid. "And fuckin' awesome." he said with a smirk
