Unknown Adversaries

Zeta sat on a high branch that was among the hundreds in the park in Karakura Town. He slowly crunched his way through an apple as he observed the people below. He thought of the duality of man and how it compared to the Hueco Mundo and the Soul Society. For them, life and death was the duality of their world. He knew this, and pitied them for it. Knowing they couldn't see or hear him, he proudly shouted, "You little humans have nothing to look forward but death. Afterwards you may receive the fruits that we have already been given, if you're lucky. To keep you all alive is torture in itself." He smirked at he continued watching.

A dark figure appeared in the distance. He seemed to just appear, no light nor sound. His feet thudded lightly with the ground as he walked. He seemed to have little reiatsu and to be very weak but this was the exact opposite of what it seemed. This figure brought new meaning to the phrase "dont judge a book by its cover". He was roughly seven feet tall, with shoulders at least two feet apart. He had a body filled with muscle, but only to the athletic points. His muscle was dense but not overbearing.

His reiatsu had the feeling of pure energy about it, as if the entire area had caught on fire and electricity at the same time, but it was a small feeling. Though he did not have very much reiatsu for a captain he was still much more powerful. He also had a secret, with this power he was sealed over twenty times over, leveling out at somewhere between advanced captain and Captain commander.

His hair was the first noticable thing about him, other than his power. It was a striking black spiked style. It was rather strange because although it was spiked it was completely natural. It hung a bit past his shoulders spiking in all directions. His eyes were just as strange as well, having four parts instead of three. He had the usual pupil, followed by a circle around it of a grey color, followed by red, then the usual white. His face had a cruel smirk, that could make Gin frown. His stare was intense enough to frighten many away, as if he was looking through their soul.

His attire consisted of a black pair of pants, obviously made for combat, filled with many pockets and chains. He had on a black jacket, with pockets on both sides. He had a sleeveless blood red shirt underneath that. He didnt tell anyone but the reason his footsteps thudded on the ground was due to the immense weight he put into the clothing, making sure he used it as weights to train his strength.

His name was legendary in all worlds. In the seireitei he was known as a traitor twice, a rogue captain commander who had absorbed the hogyoku and gained the ultimate power. He was known for his outrageous strength in Hueco Mundo, after all he had once served Aizen, by force he lied to everyone. He was known to the vaizards as the most powerful one. He was known to everyone as the writer of a certian book which mostly men bought.

He was actually once an ally of aizen, willingly. Aizen was not stupid enough to have unwilling servants. He was also one of Gin's friends. He got along with many of the espada due to his veiws. He veiwed the world as corrupt and stupid, which is why he trusted Aizen to end the pain for everyone, however he died before he could do such and Kurokon decided to do it in his stead. He was greatly enraged when he heard Aizen died, but he knew Aizen knew the price of betraying seireitei and losing. He did as well, but unlike Aizen he had not yet gotten arrogant with power.

Kurokon was his name. He had changed it a few times to avoid detection, but it didnt work so he kept it as Kurokon. He was the first of the vaizards to acheive the ressureccion and peace with his inner hollow. He was just as close to his Zanpokuto as he was with his hollow, due to both their veiws. He was known to be very wise and very resourceful. He had escaped Seireitei without trouble from anyone last time.

He had a robe hanging loosely from his neck, making it act like a cape. It was black and tattered, like what death's cloak would be. He also had two strange wing-like bones coming out from his back, but now they were folded. He had his seal on and was ready for a fun fight again. He was glad he could use the hogyoku to seal his power up to twenty times. He was as powerful as Aizen like this, but he was mostly strong in physical abilities, such as strength and speed. He was twice as strong as kenpachi and as fast as byakuya in this form, and for each seal he released it would double, making his original form unbeleivably powerful.

When Zeta sensed Kurokon, he was far too close. In one quick motion, Zeta unsheeved his sword and stood at a ready battle stance for his opponent that made him uneasy. Despite his uneasiness, Zeta still held strong to his resolve to defend himself. Having only used his to do so all his Hollow and Arrancar life, this was something he was used to no matter how strong his enemy appeared.

It took a moment, but Zeta soon realized who was before him. Having heard the stories from the older Arrancar, he now understood what a true menace looked like. This unnatural being before him was what many Arrancar had come to fear even after he was gone.

"They called you Kurokon, I believe," Zeta said still holding his ground. He knew far better than to let his guard down even if he was outmatched. "An old friend of Aizen, right?" Even with the stories of the others, Zeta didn't hesitate to confirm every last fact even though that would be impossible depending on Kurokon's patience.

"Indeed I am" He smirked. Not many actually bowed in fear to him, usually by arrogance, but he was surprised this arrancar had not. He was far more powerful, sure, but he was also a brilliant strategist. His rational thinking was what saved him for this long. He noted Zeta's appearence, nothing unusual.

He searched the reiatsu of him and hummed. "your more powerful than you should be... are you perhaps an unnatural arrancar?" He said. He had made a few unnaturals himself. They were the ones who were made using the hogyoku. He also had to thank the hogyoku, it had saved him twice now after all.

He sighed "if your looking for a fight I'm sure I could humor you for a moment" He chuckled. He had been itching for a fight since he left the war. He wondered who had won, but either way it did not matter. He was no longer an ally to either seireitei or hueco mundo. His alliance was with the masked society. He pulled two claymores off of his back, already in shikai. He weilded them like they were normal long swords, and as if they weighed nothing. Even with all his weights on him, he still had unbeleivable speed. "well... are you?"

Zeta was prepared for his speed to be frightening and anticipated that sort of approach, most would use that first. He immediately jumped back to keep his distance and fully analyze what was before him.

Still at the ready, Zeta answered, "I am an unnatural Accarnar created by Lord Aizen." He briefly regretted not being involved in the final battle knowing he could of possibly helped in some way. "Perhaps we could avoid unnecessary confrontation with our intersecting pasts?"

Zeta knew damn well that avoiding a fight was his prime objective right now. Kurokon could have the ability to wipe him out of existance. For Zeta, Kurokon's exact strength was unknown. After hearing so many unbelievable stories, it was hard to tell what was real and myth. Therefore, the best offense was to use a strong defense. He would play along as long as possible while he thought of where he should go next.

"Oh come now.. its been a while since I've fought anyone... besides I'll even seal my power down as far as it can go.. and I wont even kill you should I win.." He bargained. He had been in the mood to fight alot lately, now that he could finally lower his power to be fair.

His voice was the voice of a wise and powerful man, one who had seen many terrible things in his six thousand year lifetime. He sounded young still, as he looked as well. He smiled and wondered what the arrancar's action would be. He could only seal himself down to an advanced captain level, which he had done before he came. The seal was completely mentally controlled. His power was nearly unmatchable when fully unsealed.

He took out the two claymores he had hanging on his back and slid his body and right leg back, while keeping the left where it had been. He was in his perfect style. He hoped this fight would be fun, otherwise he might just invade Hueco Mundo and cause havoc.

Zeta sighed. He could fully see that leaving was out of the question. Either he would be attacked or innocent people would be. He didn't like the idea that he would be responsible for the deaths of the innocent. However, just feeling the power coming off Kurokon Zeta knew he couldn't hold back if he wanted to have a good fighting chance.

He closed his eyes for a moment and shook his head. "Very well. I hope you won't mind if I used my resurrecion then." He took a firm grasp on his blade, his eyes full of determination. If I can just match up to him, I should be worthy of Espada, he thought. "Split, Dualidad!"

A rush of whirling winds surrounded Zeta in a white and black aura. His power level jumped several levels higher as his molecules duplicated themselves. After the aura was gone, two being stood in Zeta's place. They both resembled him only one was white with angelic wings and the other was black with demonic wings. The white one had a piece of a hollow mask that was shaped like a halo around his forehead and the black one's entire face was a skull. Both carried a sword that was split down the middle.

"Shall we begin?" they asked in unison.

"oh good" He chuckled. He immediatly sliced down on them both with his claymores, both matching sizes of seven feet long. His strength was so great he could weild them like feathers. This proved to show his physical abillities were simply amazing.

As he sliced down it became clear of his raw strength and speed. The sound of the blade slicing the air became clear, almost like a whip had just been used. He was about twice as strong as kenpachi, meaning that with one hand he could do what kenpachi did with kendo. He was as fast as byakuya, but the problem with his sealed form is that he had very little reiatsu, well for an advanced captain.

He breifly considered stopping and meeting kenpachi for a fight before realizing that because they are both played by the same person, he could not. Yes, Kurokon was just insane enough to have broken the fourth wall multiple times.

Both of the twins used their Sonido to appear above Kurokon as the blades missed them. The black one quickly took action as he fired a Cero at him. The White backed away a little as he began to build up reiatsu. I'm curious to see what will happen.

Having always fought normal Shinigami, Arrancar, and Vizards, Zeta was curious of how his powers would take effect onto someone like Kurokon. He was determined to prove legends as true or false with this battle today. It wasn't to brag to other people. No, this was for self satisfaction. He desired to see what sort of duality lived in Kurokon if he even fell into those boundaries.
