Personality: Shin is child-like in most aspects then again he is a kid. Being a kid he is VERY energetic, cheerful and carefree most of the time. He has a sweat tooth for sweets that could rival the likes of Yachiru. Speaking of sweets, his teachers often bribe him with them to make him do his work or to train. For it seems that he function better on sweets. This was determine by accessing him for a whole week when he didn’t have sweets in which he went below class average. The following week he was given sweets and his grades jumped to top of the class. So yeah, as you can see sweets determines a lot bout him. It’s also noted that if he doesn’t have sweets, he is usually grumpy and pouts a lot till he gets them. Yes, some may think he his spoiled but then again this is who Shin is.

It has been known that he has a small crush on Rukia and thinks Ichigo or Renji doesn’t deserve an amazing girl like her. He usually shows his affection for Rukia by leaving small notes in her barrack, which usually have poetry written on them and also leaving some form of candy. Which is one way he shows affection. He ONLY shares his candy with those who he has a CRUSH on. Even if you are a friend, you better have your own candy for he isn’t going to share. FEMALES BEWARE, he still haven’t discovered the wonders of the opposite body and thus touch and pokes at said area. Though not openly, he usually tries to do so by asking them for a hug and such...often then he will try to feel and such.

Unknown to most people there is a darker side to Shin, that is often only refer to as “Him” This side of him seems to be cold-hearted, calculative, manipulative, but yet respectful and kind. Often times given Shin advice about the meaning of life and the likes. Other times he is often helping Shin with his school work, always pushing the young child to do his best and go beyond his limits. This harsh “mental” training allowed Shin to rise to the top of his class. The unique thing about this is, when Shin is craving candy during class or any other time for that matter, it is during this time that HIM is talking to the child. Somehow HIM had implant a chemical in Shin’s brain that when he wants to communicate with each other, Shin begins to crave candy and once it in his mouth, the communication begins.

When they do communicate it tends to be in an open valley with inch tall grass as far as eye can see. surprisedly HIM takes the appearance of a teenager, who wears torn rags that doesn’t even count for clothes. His figure if skinny with unhealthy looking skin, hard brown eyes show signs of war. Either mental or physical that hasn’t yet be relieve. But most of all he looks like Shin just older. Shin often refers to HIM as a future Shin, meaning that is what Shin could look like in the long run. It is currently unclear what “HIM’S” motives are for he has yet to share them with Shin but it’s only a matter of time before the truth gets revealed.

Shin can materialize his Spiritual Pressure into the shape of a panther, though this is only shown when emotions run high.

The one thing he hates about Shino Academy, he has moderate swordsmanship skill though his teachers think it could be higher if he actually puts effort into it.
Master Scimitar User
It’s really unknown why Shin has shown Mastery over Scimitars, often using them instead of the standard sword that AS are given. So far he is the only AS who has been shown to use Scimitars with deadly accurate which only increases when he uses two. Though this could be a side affect of “HIM”

Despite his small frame, he has been shown to smash large boulders with a single strike.

History and RP Sample

History:
It is rumored that during his human life, he was sexually assaulted by his father who later on killed him and buried his body in their backyard. Shin was a year old at the time. Though this is all but rumor so it could not be true...then again it could be true.

Rukongai
Awakening in Rukongai, he was adopted into a nice family. The young couple raised him and taught him everything he needed to know. How he got there. What Rukongai was all about. They also told him about the heroes of their world who are known as Shinigamis and makes up the Gotei13. They also told him that he was one of the lucky few, who didn’t end up in one of the worser districts(he ended up in the 11th east district). As time pass they raised Shin from the one year old boy to a now healthy and very smart six year old. It was during that time that, he began to hear “HIM’ speaking to him and this was also the moment that he began to experience hunger. Which could only mean one thing. And that is Shin had spiritual pressure small it might be but yet, it was there.

Seeing this the couple manage to enroll Shin into the academy in hopes to further his education and to make something of himself. When he first got there, he failed the entrance exam, mainly due to him not focusing on the task at hand and just looking around.. The second time he took the test, he had a jaw breaker in his mouth and was able to pass the test with flying colors. They placed him into the accelerated classes....

Present
Four years have now pass and he his months away from graduating. The connection between “HIM” and Shin has grown that they can have a decent conversation during class. He hasn’t fully learnt the name of his zanpakuto, but they are slightly communicating and HIM have told Shin that it’s only a matter of time that his spirit will show himself. Though it’s Shin questioned this....


RP Sample: The bell signaling the begin of class had just rung, the teacher was about to call roll when. Bam! The door flew open, standing in the entrance of the door was Shin, dressed in his normal white suit with his “pimp” hat on. The young boy was obvious out of breath, for he was breathing heavily. His clothes was kind of wrinkly but that really didn’t matter.

The female teacher looked in the general direction of Shin and spoke in a rather monotone voice “Shin you are late.”

“Sorry, Ms. Wicker I overslept.” He said, moving to his seat. The sound of chuckling was heard coming from the other students in the room.

“That’s no excuse, Shin. Now take your seat and class it’s time for your lesson.”
