Lunchtime!

It was high noon, the sun was out and not a cloud in the sky. The heat was at its peak and you would quickly break out in a sweat in the sun. Nichondri was still in the world of the living but today he was taking the day off in his gigai to experience the wonders of the people. He was wearing an open shirt with a pair of shorts lying in the middle of a field. There were many people running around, enjoying the sun, but being a shinigami, Nichondri made it a deal not to involve himself with the humans. He was friendly and outgoing, but they were from two different worlds and it was best kept that way. Although he appeared to be dozing, he was still in fact alert of any dangers to appear. It may be his day off, but the lives of the souls were of utmost importance.

'Eugh, there are too many people around, and its too hot here! This damn gigai is burning up i swear!' He muttered angrily to himself. He didnt mind the sun, but he had always found the heat unbearable, and was never one for gigai's. He sat up and looked around, and at which point there was a low rumbling sound. 'Huh, guess its lunchtime then!' He remarked quietly to himself. He stood u and headed across the field and out of the shade. Across the other side he began to walk through the town, looking at the different resturants and cafes that were now opening here and there. He wasnt used to the bustling streets was confused as to where he was trying to go. Eventually after getting fustrated he sat down on a bench under the shade of a tree and had a better look round. 'That place doesnt look too bad.' He thought to himself and set off towards the quiet cafe across the street.

However as he emerged from the shade, he was blinded by the bright light from the sun and was temporairly blinded by the light. Putting an arm up to his face he staggered backwards and crashed into someone who by the sounds of things either fell over or had dropped something. He cursed silently under his breath and quickly turned around, putting on an apologetic smile on. 'Ah .. im so sorry i ... er ... well, sorry about that, you need any help?' He quickly stammered to the other person.
