Hide and Seek

Ashei sighed as she walked into the empty Karakura High School. Today was Sunday, and according to her watch, it was 3:32 p.m. It was pitch black outside, the sky and clouds a inky black. The school was too. No lights, no moon to shine through the windows and ligfht up the tiny classrooms, nothing. Ashei had never been here before, never even enrolled. She had already learned enough things to where she was a teenage prodigy. She looked around, barely able to see the corners. She heard a small click. That's all it took to alert her. She shot through the corridors to get away from whatever it was. She yawned again as she nearly knocked into a wall, still alert.

Domon looked down the halls of Karakura High School, sliding in through the door that he had just picked open. He had decided to take a walk down memory lane, and revisit the school which had held the only bit of normalcy that he had experienced during his life. As he walked down the hallway, he heard what sounded like running going through the corridors, but couldn't see anything. He considered using his father's lifesight to see, but decided against it, figuring it would be more fun to try and figure out what it was without his abilities. He could feel someone's emotions nearby, but tried not to focus in on it. He smiled, taking off down the halls at a fast rate.

Ashei dark brown eyes widened in shock when she heard someone sprinting down the halls. Ashei took off, using the ability Quincies use that is equal to the Shinigami shunpo, Hirenkyaku, an art of which she is incredibly developed in. She silenced herself, her breathing, everything, even going as far to hide her own Reiatsu. Ashei stopped a few corners away, still completely alert in case whoever the person was got remotely close. She looked over to he desks in the classroom and sighed. Ashei quietly picked one up and laced in the middle of the hallway along with a few others. It was completely dark, Ashei knew there would be no way to see these in this darkness, she could barely see them herself. Ashei started running again, her steps precise and silent.

Domon ran through the halls, enjoying the chase without his abilities... it was rare that he got to live without them pressing down on him. It's a bit strange that I haven't caught up to whatever it is though... I can't even hear it anymore, and I'm moving faster than a normal human as it is. He considered using his empathy to feel out the person's location, but decided against it. Suddenly, he found his leg slamming into a line of desks, which went flying down the hallway, eventually embedding themselves in the wall. Domon himself flew for a good few seconds, landing further down the hall and letting out a small laugh. Oh, so you want to play rough huh? He smiled as he rose, running down the halls with purpose, but still not passing Shunpo speeds. While his eyes could barely see through the darkness, his reflexes were now on full alert, and he moved with as little noise as possible.

Ashei kept running, nodded quietly to herself. She noticed whoever's footsteps get quite quieter, but hers were still as silent as a cemetary. She contemplated her next moves while running in the darkness, dodging walls and hallways. She stopped for a minute, noticing that she was quite far ahead and a huge amount of pencils and pens in one of the huge clear boxy containers. She emptied them out on the floor and made sure they were apread around, though it waas quite difficult when it's pitch black. She sighed and started to run again, her step silent and swift, like a graceful and cunning predator. She didn't want to use her arrows, it would give her away. She felt like playing a nice game of Hide and Seek.

Domon ran down the hall, gradually picking up speed as he went along, eventually reaching speeds at about 1.5 times the average Shunpo. He considered the fact that he hadn't caught up to whatever he was chasing, noting that they were definitely not normal... although he was pleased to think that it didn't seem to be too terribly set on destroying him. It was like playing Hide and Seek... he had always been pretty good at it too. He heard what sounded like several small things being spilled, and guessed that whoever it was was setting a trap for him again. He smiled, noting that he hadn't heard them move, which meant that they were completely silent. He leaped into the air, beginning to run on the ceiling to bypass whatever it had placed. Bet they don't see this coming...
